Student Rules & Regulations
To maintain discipline, harmony, and academic excellence, all students of K.S.T. College are expected to abide by the following rules and regulations:
General Discipline
- Students must attend classes regularly and maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for examinations.
- Identity Cards (if issued) must be carried at all times within the campus.
- Students should be punctual and follow the daily timetable of the college.
Code of Conduct
- Students must show respect and courtesy towards teachers, staff, and fellow students.
- Any form of ragging, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited and punishable under law.
- Use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or intoxicating substances is banned within the campus.
- Misbehavior, violence, or disruption of classes will invite disciplinary action.
Use of College Property
- Students must use classrooms, laboratories, library, and equipment responsibly.
- Damaging furniture, books, or any college property is a punishable offense, and repair costs will be recovered.
- Cleanliness of the campus must be maintained at all times.
Examinations & Academics
- Students must avoid malpractice, plagiarism, or unfair means during examinations or assignments.
- Submission of assignments, projects, and practical work must be done within the given deadlines.
- Mobile phones or electronic gadgets are prohibited during exams unless permitted.
Leave & Absence
- Students must apply for leave in advance; unauthorized absence will be treated as indiscipline.
- Medical leave must be supported by a valid medical certificate.
General Conduct
- Students should participate actively in cultural, sports, and extension activities of the college
- Political activities, unauthorized meetings, or protests within the campus are strictly prohibited
- Students must follow all notices, circulars, and instructions issued by the Principal/Administration.
